1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser so it can remember something about your visit. Websites can also save information with similar browser storage. This policy covers both, on slateo.io and in the Slateo app at app.slateo.io and the Slateo industry apps.
2. Cookies on slateo.io
We use Google Analytics to see how people find and use our website, for example which pages are visited most. We don’t use cookies for advertising, and we tell Google not to use our analytics data for ads.
| Cookie | Set by | What it’s for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics | Tells visits from different browsers apart | 2 years |
_ga_1XZHQTZVJ2 |
Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |
If you’re in Europe (we judge this from your browser’s time zone), these cookies are only set after you click Accept in the cookie banner. Until then, or if you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set, and Google Analytics receives only basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed.
Everywhere else, analytics cookies are on by default. You can turn them off at any time with Cookie settings (see section 5).
3. Preferences saved in your browser
Our website also saves a few choices in your browser, so it can remember them. These aren’t used for tracking and are never sent to us.
| Name | What it remembers | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
slateo-consent |

slateo-theme |
Light or dark theme, if you picked one | Until you clear it |
slateo-currency |

4. Cookies in the Slateo app
When you sign in to Slateo, the app sets a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. It’s strictly necessary for the app to work, so it doesn’t need your consent.
If you sign in with Google, or pay for a plan through Razorpay, those services may set their own cookies, under their own cookie policies.
5. Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page, to accept or reject analytics cookies at any time.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block the app’s sign-in cookie, you won’t be able to stay signed in to Slateo.
6. More information
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy policy. Questions about this policy go to contact@slateo.io.
